BDO Tauranga is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to help us nurture our people and foster an engaged, high-performing team. The Role
Strategic HR Partnership: Serve as the go-to HR advisor, offering guidance on performance management, remuneration, employment relations (ER), recruitment, learning & development, well-being, and more. You'll influence and support others to make sound people decisions, ensuring compliance with NZ employment law and company policy. Importantly, your input will be valued in driving HR strategy forward and fostering a high-performance culture.
Driving HR Programs: Oversee the lead core HR processes with excellence - from coordinating the annual performance review cycle to leading our remuneration review process and managing talent development initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Culture: Be a champion of our positive workplace culture. You will manage our annual staff engagement/culture survey - analysing results, communicating insights, and guiding post-survey action to turn feedback into improvement. By promoting well-being and recognition programs, you'll help ensure we maintain an engage group of high-performing employees who love coming to work.
HR Operations Excellence: Ensure our day-to-day HR operations run seamlessly. You'll manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, making sure we attract and induct people who align with our values. You'll also advise on off-boarding and exit interviews, using insights to continually improve. Plus you'll keep HR policies and records up-to-date and compliant, maintaining fairness, consistency and best practice across the board.
About You
You are an experienced, confident HR generalist who is ready to make a difference. We're looking for someone who is a self starter, can hit the ground running and bring a blend of strong technical HR knowledge and exceptional people skills. To thrive in this role, you will have:
