As the Test Team Leader, we will empower you to think beyond, redefine standards and evolve the status quo. This is a full time 12 month role covering parental leave commencing immediately and based in our Hays Parramatta office.
We’re looking for a strong leader to take charge of our Hays Front Office Test Team, guiding the delivery of high‑quality system and user acceptance testing across new and enhanced Front Office systems. In this role, you’ll define the testing strategy, approach, and methodologies to ensure all solutions are robust, fit for business use, and aligned with operational objectives.
You’ll also be responsible for driving team performance—ensuring the Front Office Test Team consistently delivers on its commitments, meets required outcomes, and supports the business with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead, support, and supervise the Front Office Test Team, allocating work, managing resources, and ensuring daily updates and smooth team operations.
- Oversee and perform manual testing activities including test planning, script creation, execution, and maintaining an accurate test script library.
- Manage defect identification, tracking, and retesting, ensuring timely bug reporting and clear communication with the development teams.
- Collaborate closely with development teams and product stakeholders throughout sprints, demos, and release cycles.
- Coordinate testing across APAC for systems including the Hays website, CRM and integrated platforms, while supporting new products and technology rollouts.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, adherence to processes, and effective use of Azure tools to deliver high‑quality testing outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed - Proven experience leading and supporting a testing team, with strong people‑leadership and coordination skills.
- Solid background in manual testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Strong test scripting capability, with the ability to work from requirement documentation to create, review, and maintain accurate test scripts.
- Previous hands‑on experience testing CRM or ATS platforms, preferably in complex, integrated environments
