Our global network and ways of working mean you’ll be part of something bigger, whilst taking pride in the work you do within a collaborative team. As Content Strategist ANZ, you’ll shape how we tell our story, raise the bar for content quality, and continually evolve how we engage our audiences.
This is a full‑time permanent role based in our Hays Sydney CBD office, with flexibility to consider candidates across Australia for the right person. As the Content Strategist ANZ, you’ll shape, create and connect content across our owned channels to drive engagement, consideration and conversion.
Sitting at the centre of our digital content ecosystem, you’ll bring cohesion across email, website and social by planning and delivering high‑quality, strategically aligned content. You’ll play a key role in brand storytelling, marketing activity and hero thought‑leadership pieces like the Salary Guide, working closely with channel owners to ensure every touchpoint is connected and consistent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive the digital first content strategy across email, website and social, ensuring alignment, consistency and a connected audience experience.
- Plan content themes and messaging that support campaigns, audience and business objectives, guiding users from awareness to conversion.
- Write and optimise high‑quality content across formats, including evergreen advice, email journeys and channel‑specific digital copy.
- Refresh and maintain existing content for relevance and performance, while staying on top of digital, email and social trends.
- Lead major content pieces such as the Salary Guide, including campaign copywriting, stakeholder collaboration and insight‑gathering interviews.
- Use SEO insights and keyword research to optimise content, working with digital teams to improve visibility, traffic and engagement.
What you'll need to succeed - Strong technical content‑writing skills across digital, short-form and long‑form formats.
- Critical thinking to shape and plan effective content strategies.
- Ability to create high‑quality content across digital, email and thought‑leadership channels.
- Solid SEO and digital performance understanding, with the ability to use insights to optimise content.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and collaboration across teams.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
