The Role We are looking for Permanent Part-Time Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our home care team in the Wauchope / Hastings region, NSW. You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.
What you will do
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring:
- Reporting to the RN, you will lead the care team
- Coordinate care in an allocated section of home and ensuring care plan compliance throughout the shift
- Advising and allocating care staff
- Recognition and escalation of the deteriorating resident
- Provision of safe, high-quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Promote a positive resident experience through a resident-first approach
- Providing ADL care to residents
- Maintain documentation as per organisational standards
What you will bring - Registration with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory
- One-year of experience as a enrolled nurse in a residential aged care setting is desirable (new entrants will be considered)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
