Who we are: PresCare Maryborough is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities. At PresCare we aim to provide the highest quality residential aged care in environments that are rich with the senses of home.

The Role: We are looking for Full Time Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our 96 beds facility in PresCare Yaralla Place which is located in Maryborough in QLD. You must be dedicated to working and understanding the residential aged care environment and standards. We have a range of shifts available and a culture of high-level empathy and compassion for our residents.

What you will do: The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring:

• Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
• Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
• Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
• Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
• Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Positive resident experience through resident-first approach

Who are you and what will you bring?

• Registration with the AHPRA as a registered nurse is essential
• Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care within Aged Care ONLY - MANDATORY
• Current Drivers License - MANDATORY
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Hold and maintain NDIS Worker Checks as per NDIS Act 2013 (or willing to obtain)
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care.

Employment details:

• Employment type: Permanent
• Hours: Full-time - 76 hours per fortnight
• Salary Range: $70,000 to $110,000 based on experience + Super + NFP salary packaging + allowances
• Location: PresCare Yaralla Place
