Opportunity for an Intermediate Software Engineer to contribute to engineering practices, write clean code, and implement product features with an established FinTech scaling their investment platform

You'll work within an experienced team, tackling challenging technical problems in a complex financial domain with multiple data sources and integrations.

React/TypeScript features that transform raw financial data into intuitive user experiences.

• Wellington Waterfront office location

• Salary Ranges will be finalised next week. Likely in $100-130,000 range

What You'll Do

• Build clean, testable, maintainable code
• Develop and test product features that integrate diverse financial data sources
• Participate in technical discussions and peer reviews
• Support improvements + help address technical debt
• Solve challenging problems involving real-time data processing and visualization
• Debug and resolve application issues across interconnected systems
• Help maintain packages + follow security best practices

What You'll Bring

• Working experience with React + TypeScript
• Good JavaScript fundamentals
• Familiarity with React Query, fetch/axios, Git
• Experience with Jest + React Testing Library
• Effective communication and collaborative approach
• Interest in financial markets or FinTech is a bonus
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with complex data relationships
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills
