We're partnering with an established FinTech scaling their investment platform and looking for a Senior Developer to bring strong engineering practice, clean code, and product-focused thinking.
 
You'll act as a subject-matter expert, shaping technical decisions, delivering high-quality React/TypeScript features, and helping uplift overall team capability. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating closely across a product team, and mentoring others.

• Wellington Waterfront office location
• Work with an award-winning FinTech with strong industry partnerships
• Salary Ranges will be finalised next week. Likely in $140-170,000 range 
• Drive improved client experience and business outcomes through analysis

What You'll Do

• Build clean, testable, maintainable code
• Develop and test new product features
• Lead technical discussions and peer reviews
• Identify improvements + reduce technical debt
• Debug and resolve application issues
• Maintain packages + support security best practice

What You'll Bring

• Strong React + TypeScript experience
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals
• Familiarity with React Query, fetch/axios, Git
• Experience with Jest + React Testing Library
• Strong communication and collaborative approach
• Interest in financial markets or FinTech is a bonus
