Assembly Team Member (Part-Time) – ManufactHER Project

Hours: 25 hours per week (flexible)

About the Role
As an Assembly Team Member, you will support production activities for commercial garage door openers while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling components using detailed instructions, parts lists, and tools
- Inspecting completed products to ensure quality specifications are met
- Completing production and quality documentation
- Identifying and reporting faults, non-conformances, and equipment issues
- Participating in daily toolbox meetings and team activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe workspace in line with housekeeping standards
- Supporting team members and assisting with on-the-job training where required
- Contributing to continuous improvement and efficient production outcomes
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, safety-focused, and committed

- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Can follow processes, instructions, and quality standards
- Is comfortable with hands-on, repetitive work
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is not required – training will be provided

Physical Requirements
This role is performed in a manufacturing environment and includes:
- Standing for extended periods
- Repetitive manual tasks
- Lifting and handling materials (typically up to 5kg+)
- Use of tools and equipment
- Wearing PPE including safety footwear and hearing protection
