3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic Wyong | Full-time | Dealership workshop environment
About the Opportunity
Are you a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic looking for your next step in the automotive industry?
CCGT is recruiting for a motivated apprentice to join a trusted automotive dealership located in Wyong. With more than 50 years serving the Central Coast community, the business provides vehicle sales, servicing, parts, finance and accessories, supported by a professional and experienced team.
This is a great opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a modern dealership workshop where you can build your confidence, work across multiple brands and learn from an award-winning service team.
You will be employed and supported by Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) while continuing your nationally recognised automotive qualification, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
What You'll Be Doing
You will work alongside qualified tradespeople and technicians while continuing to develop your mechanical skills.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting qualified technicians with servicing and repairs
- Completing vehicle servicing and express maintenance
- Supporting diagnostics and repairs across multiple brands
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and presentation standards
- Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a fast-paced service team
- Continuing to build your technical knowledge and confidence
As you progress, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and further develop your diagnostic and repair skills.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is already part-way through their apprenticeship and ready to grow within a professional dealership environment.
To be considered, you will need:
- To be a current 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Mechanic
- A genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry
- Current driver’s licence
- Willingness to complete a licence history check
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop
- Mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to keep learning
- Own vehicle preferred
This role would suit someone who is motivated, career-focused and keen to continue developing their skills with a respected Central Coast dealership.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:06pm. Overtime during the week and some weekend work may be required.
