About the Opportunity
CCGT is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join a locally based carpentry business working across the Central Coast.
This is a full-time apprenticeship where you will be employed and supported by Central Coast Group Training (CCGT) while continuing your Certificate III in Carpentry.
You will be working with a small, experienced team across a wide variety of projects, including carpentry, pub fit-outs, shop fit-outs, renovations and new builds. No two days will look exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for an apprentice who is ready to build on their skills and gain broader hands-on experience.

What You'll Be Doing
You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship while continuing to develop your carpentry skills on real projects.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting with general carpentry tasks
- Working on renovations, fit-outs and new builds
- Supporting pub and shop fit-out projects
- Measuring, cutting, assembling and installing materials
- Using hand tools, power tools and equipment safely
- Reading and following plans and instructions
- Preparing and maintaining clean and safe worksites
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Working alongside qualified tradespeople and other trades
- Following WHS procedures and site requirements
This role is suited to someone who enjoys practical work, variety and being part of a team that gets stuck in.
What We're Looking
For We are ideally looking for a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprentice who is ready to keep progressing in the trade.
To be considered, you will need:
- To be currently completing a carpentry apprenticeship
- A genuine interest in carpentry, renovations and fit-out work
- Current White Card
- Current driver’s licence
- Own reliable vehicle
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
- Confidence working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Pride in your work and attention to detail
This opportunity would suit someone who wants more variety in their apprenticeship and is keen to work across different types of carpentry projects.
