WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH...
Our Host Employer is a Central Coast-based business specialising in plastering and interior fit-out works, including plasterboard partitions, suspended ceilings, fire-rated systems and wall linings.
Working across residential and commercial sites, they are known for delivering high-quality finishes and take pride in developing apprentices with real, hands-on experience across a range of projects.
This is a great opportunity for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year Apprentice Plasterer looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED...
- Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
- White Card
- Hardworking, reliable and physically fit
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
Working full-time, Monday to Friday from 7:00am, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Installing plasterboard partitions and wall linings
- Assisting with suspended ceilings and acoustic systems
- Working on fire-rated and composite wall systems
- Applying plaster and finishing surfaces
- Supporting site setup, clean-up and general labouring
- Travelling to various job sites across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney
As part of this apprenticeship, you will be PAID to complete a Certificate III in Wall & Ceiling Lining through off-the-job training at TAFE NSW Newcastle Campus one day per week.
