CCGT is looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Mechanic to join our Host Employer in Wyoming. You will be employed by CCGT, supported by our team, and placed with a local business where you can learn on the job and build confidence.

- Hours: Full-time 38 hours per week
- Roster: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm
- Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Licence or transport: Driver licence required, own vehicle preferred

About the role This is a great opportunity if you are mechanically minded and keen to learn in a real workshop.
What you will be doing:
- Helping keep the workshop clean and organised
- Assisting qualified tradespeople and technicians
- Learning vehicle servicing and express maintenance
- Building skills in diagnostics and repairs across multiple brands as you progress
- Working some weekends and overtime during the week when required
Host Employer
You will be placed with a trusted
automotive dealership in Wyoming that supports the local community through vehicle sales, servicing, parts and finance. This role suits someone who is keen on cars, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to be part of a fast-moving team that takes pride in doing a quality job.
About you
You do not need to know everything on day one. What matters most is that you show up, listen, ask questions and keep improving.
You will suit this if you:
- Have a genuine interest in cars and the automotive industry
- Are reliable, hardworking and a strong team player
- Can handle a busy workshop environment and stay safe and focused
Good to know: School projects, work experience, volunteering, sport, hobbies or helping family all count.
What you will need:
- Driver licence (own vehicle preferred)
- Any required checks: criminal check and licence history check
