Travel: Up to 15% (travel to corporate headquarters in Florida)
Compensation: $80,000  - $90,000 ( or more based on experience) + Full Health Benefits, PTO, & Retirement
  
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an accomplished assessment professional to direct the end-to-end execution of our high-stakes professional credentials across multiple delivery models. In this position, you will serve as the primary process authority, guiding committees of volunteer subject experts to turn specialized field knowledge into valid, reliable, and legally defensible examinations.
  
You will bring a proactive, results-driven mindset, take full ownership of project timelines while managing concurrent exam programs, expanding item banks, and creating brand-new credentialing products from concept to launch.
  
Core Responsibilities

• Multi-Format Program Management: Direct the continuous development, administration, and lifecycle health of high-stakes testing programs delivered simultaneously through paper-based, computer-based (CBT), and remotely proctored testing.
• JTA & Test Blueprint Leadership: Autonomously lead Job Task Analysis (JTA) initiatives with volunteer committees, establish candidate competency domains, and convert research findings into validated exam specifications.
• Committee Workshop Facilitation: Direct Subject Matter Expert (SME) workshops covering target candidate definition, item writing, item pool expansion, and formal cut-score/standard-setting determination.
• Standards-Based Content Creation: Write, review, and refine test items ensuring strict, direct mapping to official industry codes, standards, and technical references.
• Bank Health & Psychometrics: Oversee item pool integrity, perform regular psychometric analyses, monitor statistical metrics, and address operational or security anomalies.
• Vendor & Governance Collaboration: Partner alongside test administration vendors and internal committee leadership to maintain credentialing rigor and operational alignment.

  
Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Associate degree or higher.
• Senior-Level Testing Expertise: Substantial background in high-stakes assessment design and certification development, with the proven ability to execute immediately with zero foundational training.
• 2+ years as an  experienced test developer who can hit the ground running without needing basic training in certification processes.
• JTA & Blueprint Mastery: Proven record of independently facilitating JTA studies and translating outcomes into valid test blueprints.
• Multi-Modal Testing Delivery: Direct experience overseeing simultaneous credentialing programs across paper, CBT, and online proctored environments.
• Code-Referenced Item Development: Hands-on experience drafting and editing assessment items mapped directly against formal industry publications and codes.
• Workshop Leadership: Outstanding communication skills with a confident presence to steer expert committees, manage diverse personalities, and keep workshops on schedule.
• Proactive Work Ethic: Self-motivated "go-getter" mentality with complete accountability for project deliverables and deadlines.
• Non-Profit Mission Alignment: Genuine interest in supporting non-profit association goals and working collaboratively with volunteer groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Testing Software & Platforms: Hands-on familiarity with statistical tools, psychometric software, or commercial test delivery vendor platforms (e.g., Pearson VUE, Prometric, PSI).
