In this high-impact role, you will work directly alongside the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Chief Business Officer (CBO) and company owner to drive revenue strategy, scale operations, and strengthen partnerships across our distribution network.

Position Overview
The Director of Sales is a senior commercial role responsible for leading and accelerating the company's sales efforts across our distribution network.

• You will support the CGO and CBO in executing go-to-market strategies, managing agency partnerships, and building a high-performing sales team.
• This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution —you will be equally comfortable in a boardroom strategy session and on the phone closing a deal.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the CGO and CBO to develop and execute commercial growth strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and scale a sales team — setting goals, tracking KPIs, and creating a culture of accountability and performance.
• Identify and develop new agency and distribution partnerships to expand the company's footprint in target markets.
• Drive revenue growth by overseeing inbound and outbound sales campaigns, pipeline management, and conversion optimization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners, carriers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales initiatives with broader company goals.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities, forecast performance, and
• inform strategic decisions
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings as a senior commercial ambassador.
• Ensure sales processes and team activities remain compliant with applicable insurance regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish across internal teams, partner agencies, and prospective clients.

 
Candidate profile- Requirements 

• 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in insurance, insurtech, or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B or distribution focused environment.
• Conversational fluency in Spanish is required.
• Experience supporting or collaborating with C-suite executives on commercial strategy.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a coaching mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Data-driven approach to sales planning and performance management.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling company.
• Located in or willing to commute to the Doral, Miami area (in-person role).

 
Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Commission: Up to 100% of base salary in performance-based commission — uncapped earning potential tied directly to results.
