Primary Care Physician (Outpatient)- Bilingual
LOCATION: Central Florida (Greater Lakeland / Polk County Area)

DESCRIPTION:
A well-established, with over 25 years with multi-site healthcare clinics is seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Primary Care Physician to join a growing medical center in the Central Florida area.
  
This position is ideal for a dedicated clinician committed to providing top-tier, patient-focused care within a diverse community. The selected candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care services to a mixed patient panel (adult and pediatric) within a collaborative, outpatient clinical environment. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and the ability to make a meaningful, measurable impact.
  
REQUIREMENTS:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty.
• Strong background in outpatient primary care clinical settings.
• Comfortable treating a full-spectrum patient demographic, including both adult and pediatric populations.
• Bilingual proficiency – Fluent in both Spanish and English (required).
• Prior experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners and/or APRNs is highly preferred.
• Active Florida medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
• Active DEA registration (or immediate eligibility to obtain).

  
  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care & Patient Management

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute, episodic, and chronic conditions.
• Conduct routine annual physicals and ensure the completion of preventative health screenings.
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic or laboratory testing, and interpret results in accordance with evidence-based medical practices.
• Develop individualized short- and long-term treatment plans and preventative care strategies.
• Counsel patients regarding wellness, lifestyle modifications, diet, and chronic disease management.
• Confirm final diagnoses and ensure appropriate specialty referrals and follow-up care.

  
Clinical Leadership & Collaboration

• Offer clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship to advanced practice providers (NPs and APRNs) to maintain excellent care continuity.
• Review complex cases, treatment plans, and clinical protocols collaboratively with the mid-level provider team.
• Promote a respectful, collaborative, and patient-centric team culture within the clinic.

  
Quality, Compliance & Operations

• Participate actively in internal quality assurance initiatives and clinical performance improvement efforts.
• Ensure precise, timely, and compliant medical documentation in alignment with state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Review clinical utilization data and documentation to support accurate reporting and operational compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient electronic health records (EHR).
