What’s the Brief?
At Samuels Donegan, we partner with organisations that take alignment seriously - where clear communication and well-sequenced change are essential to scaling. You’ll be joining a purpose-led organisation at the forefront of the energy transition, focused on delivering mega-scale battery storage solutions that enable a cleaner, more reliable future. This role sits at a critical inflection point. As the Comms & Change Manager, you’ll establish the foundational frameworks, tools, and ways of working that underpin effective internal communication and sustained change maturity. The culture is pragmatic, fast-moving, and collaborative.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
Reporting to the Director, People, Safety & Marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how information flows across the organisation and how change is experienced by teams. You’ll work closely with leaders and stakeholders across multiple pillars, acting as a trusted advisor and coordination point - particularly as the business scales and enterprise-level initiatives increase in pace and complexity. If you enjoy building from the ground up, bringing structure to ambiguity, and helping organisations move through change with confidence, this role will feel like a strong fit.
Where You’ll Make an Impact - Lead the end-to-end delivery of a new intranet, from discovery and stakeholder needs analysis through to launch
- Define intranet purpose, information architecture, content principles, governance, and success measures
- Partner with IT and external vendors to select, configure, and implement fit-for-purpose platforms
- Coordinate content uplift for launch-critical areas, establishing clear ownership and maintenance rhythms
- Review and strengthen internal communication channels, cadence, decision rights, and approval pathways
- Develop simple templates and practical guidance to support leaders and teams
- Provide hands-on support to enterprise change initiatives, coordinating communications to reduce overlap and change fatigue
- Act as a central cross-functional coordination point, identifying risks, dependencies, and alignment gaps, and documenting clear handover insights for future state
