An exciting opportunity exists for two (2) Permanent Part Time Cleaners to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate based in Glenden and St Lawrence. Reporting to the Property Officer this position is responsible for the cleaning of amenities, properties and facilities including Council owned offices, buildings and fatigue accommodation, to the required standard.
What you’ll be doing:
· Providing high‑quality cleaning services across Council offices, buildings, and fatigue accommodation facilities
· Maintaining cleanliness to required standards, through routine and periodic cleaning
· Reporting any maintenance issues or facility concerns to the Property Officer
· Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures
What you need:
· Strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of others
· Understanding of safe and effective use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
· Dedication to maintaining high cleaning and service standards
· Demonstrated experience in cleaning services
· Demonstrated experience in customer service or interacting with the public
· Valid Driver Licence
If you are successful in this position, you will receive:
· Salary of $32.42 per hour (Stream B, Level 1)
· St Lawrence Position - 16 hours per week (Monday - Thursday; 4 hours per day)
· Glenden Position – 29 hours per week (Monday – Friday; 5 – 6 hours per day)
· Permanent Positions
· 5 weeks annual leave pro rata @ 17.5% loading
· Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
