Truck Driver – Moranbah
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Truck Driver to join Isaac Regional Council’s dynamic Parks and Recreation Team in Moranbah. In this diverse role, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out grounds’ maintenance in community spaces. This includes but is not limited to mowing, whipper snipping, blowing, spraying, irrigation, and graffiti removal. Reporting to the Team Leader Parks and Recreation, the ideal candidate will be a positive communicator, with experience in operation of plant and equipment involved in grounds maintenance activities, in addition to poison operations for horticulture upkeep.
To be successful in this position, you will hold the following skills: - Successfully build and maintain positive working relationships across teams, contributing to a collaborative and safety‑focused workplace culture.
- Light Rigid (LR) Truck Licence
- Open C class Drivers Licence
- Blue/White Card
- Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in similar roles
If you are successful in this position, you will receive: - Salary $66,375.54 - $67,578.63 per annum (Stream B, Level 3-4)
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
