We're working with a well-established family farming operation near Molong, NSW, seeking an experienced Farm Hand to join their team long-term.
This is a hands-on role across both livestock and broadacre farming, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and has strong mechanical skills.

The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of day-to-day farm operations including:
- Sheep handling and livestock operations
- Mustering using motorbikes
- Drenching, ear tagging, lamb marking and shearing support
- Fencing and general farm maintenance
- Planting, spraying and harvesting broadacre crops
- Cutting, baling, carting and stacking hay
- Machinery servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
The Farming Operation - 7,000-acre mixed farming enterprise
- 5,000 Merino ewes, Border Leicester rams and first-cross lambs
- 250 hectares of dryland cropping
- 30 hectares of lucerne production
- Wheat, barley, canola and lucerne
- No irrigation
- Horses are not used for mustering
Machinery You'll work with a range of equipment including:
- John Deere tractors
- Disc planters
- Sprayers
- Augers
- Semi-trucks
- New Holland hay balers
- Motorbikes
During sowing and harvest, there will be opportunities to assist on the family's larger broadacre cropping properties, operating modern Case IH machinery and equipment.
About You To be considered, you will need:
- Previous farm hand experience
- Strong mechanical and maintenance skills
- Current driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Truck licence and chemical accreditation are advantageous but not essential.
