About the Role
Supporting the CEO, this is a true right-hand role operating at the heart of executive leadership. You’ll act as a trusted partner, gatekeeper and connector, ensuring the smooth coordination of a highly complex portfolio spanning senior government, universities and international stakeholders. This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking ahead, joining the dots and operating with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a highly complex, dynamic diary across jurisdictions and time zones
- Prepare briefings, correspondence, presentations and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate executive, board and governance meetings (agendas, papers, minutes, follow-up)
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across government, universities and industry
- Manage end-to-end travel and engagement logistics (domestic & international)
- Support strategic projects, workflow coordination and executive priorities
- Assist with budget coordination, reporting and approvals
- Handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgement
Your Skills and ExperienceYou are a seasoned EA who brings both capability and confidence to a senior executive environment. We're looking for someone with extensive experience supporting senior or C-suite executives, ideally from a government, higher education, or complex stakeholder environment. You'll need to be highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity, have exceptional communication skills, and have experience drafting and preparing documents for senior audiences.
