Exceptional Special-Needs Nanny for a Warm & Holistic Family

LOCATION: Weston, FL

SCHEDULE: 35-40 hours per week. Some flexibility required, including occasional weekends.

CHILDREN: Two, ages 11 & 5

ABOUT THE FAMILY & CHILDREN:

This dynamic household includes two wonderful children, with plans to welcome a third in the future. One child has cerebral palsy and is nonverbal but communicates through spelling and whiteboards. She is highly active, engaged in daily therapies, and enjoys music, art, and outdoor activities. The other child is easygoing, loves games, dinosaurs, cooking, and staying busy. Both children adore animals, and the family has three friendly dogs.

The family embraces a holistic approach to health and wellness, avoiding traditional medical interventions in favor of Eastern medicine, therapies, and alternative healing practices. They prioritize patience, kindness, and flexibility in their home and require a nanny who aligns with their values.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have experience with children with special needs

*Patient, empathetic, and physically fit

*Highly interactive & energetic - this is not a passive role

*Familiarity with holistic health practices or an open-mindedness to learn.

*English fluency required

*Comfortable with a no-screen household

MUST BE LOCAL 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Support and engage both children in a screen-free, hands-on environment.

*Assist with daily therapies (training provided) and her overall care, including bathroom assistance and hygiene.

*Encourage imaginative play, arts, music, and outdoor activities.

*Manage light tidying, children's laundry, and occasional pet care (letting dogs out, feeding as needed).

*Practice gentle discipline with a structured yet nurturing approach.
