Full-Time Family Assistant
Location: Alpine, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $35-$40/hour (W-2)
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation 
  
Position Overview   
A warm and welcoming family in Alpine, NJ is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Family Assistant to help maintain their beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. home. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable around pets, and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly. This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in thorough housekeeping and creating a calm, well-maintained environment.
  
Key Responsibilities   
Home Upkeep   

• Daily cleaning, tidying, and maintaining overall household organization
• Deep cleaning of kitchen and support with meal prep cleanup
• Managing and organizing closets, pantries, and storage areas
• Overseeing weekly cleaning service to ensure standards are met
• Light outdoor support such as tidying around yard/pool areas (no heavy landscaping)
• Help with dinner parties as needed   

Family Assistance

• Running errands (groceries, returns, household items, dry cleaning, pharmacy, etc.)
• Accepting deliveries and managing household supplies
• Assisting with guest arrivals and departures
• Helping set up for parties, gatherings, and events

Pet Care

• Assisting with the family's pets (a puppy and a bunny), including feeding, refreshing water, light cleaning of pet areas, and occasional walking or playtime 

Qualifications   
  

• Prior housekeeping experience in a large private home (experience in large, 8,000-12,000 sq. ft. homes preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with household pets
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Professional, reliable, and respectful of boundaries and confidentiality

Schedule & Compensation   

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM
• Pay: $35-$40/hour (W-2) *85-100k annually 
• Paid Time Off: 2 weeks paid vacatio
