Full-Time Live-In or Live-Out Nanny / Family Assistant - Rhinebeck, New York- FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH A MUST!
We are working with a lovely family in Rhinebeck, New York seeking an experienced, long-term Nanny / Family Assistant to join their home. This is a full-time position with the option to live in or live out (for a local candidate).
The family has a sweet one-year-old daughter and hopes to welcome a second child in the future. Both parents work from home running their businesses. Mom is transitioning back to work part-time and is looking for a trusted right-hand to support both childcare and household assistance.
Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• Additional date nights and occasional weekends to complete a guaranteed 40-hour work week

Compensation & Benefits

• $35+ per hour (W-2)
• 401(k)

• Overtime and time-and-a-half for applicable hours

Living Accommodations (If Live-In)

• Private bedroom and bathroom in a separate guest house
• Space may occasionally be used for guests, but nanny will always have a private bedroom and bathroom

Responsibilities

• Primary childcare for a one-year-old
• Child-related organization and tidying
• Assisting mom with errands, grocery shopping, and household coordination
• Driving to activities, appointments, and playdates (car provided while on duty)
• Travel with family 1-2 weeks at a time (including international travel)
•  support in maintaining household flow (family employs a part-time housekeeper)

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-time nanny experience
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Spanish-speaking household)
• Strong swimmer
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Passport-ready and excited to travel
• Comfortable with two dogs (must be pet-friendly)
• Extensive background screening required
• Flawless references with strong longevity in prior roles
• Seeking a long-term commitment (family hopes for 10+ years)
