Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced marine propulsion systems, producing world-class engineering solutions that are used throughout the marine industry across the globe.

Due to continued growth, they are expanding their Christchurch manufacturing team and are looking for motivated Mechanical Fitters to join them. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble precision-engineered mechanical and hydraulic components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Install, align, and test mechanical assemblies
• Diagnose and resolve assembly issues
• Complete quality inspections throughout production
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively

What We're Looking For

• Recognised Mechanical Engineering Trade Qualification
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembler
• Experience within manufacturing, heavy engineering, marine, or industrial environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work with hydraulic systems
• Excellent attention to detail

Day Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00am-3:30pm

Afternoon Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 3:30pm-11:30pm
• Shift allowance applies

Night Shift

• Sunday-Friday
• 11:00pm-7:00am
• Shift allowance applies
