About the Role Our client is a well-established plastic extrusion manufacturing business based in Hillsborough, Christchurch. They are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Quality Checker / Packer to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results. You’ll be responsible for checking returned plastic profiles, removing excess material and ensuring products meet the required standards before being repackaged and sent back out.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality checking returned plastic profiles and products
• Ensuring products meet required quality standards
• Removing excess plastic and unwanted material
• Repackaging products ready for dispatch
• Identifying any defects or issues with products
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Following production and quality procedures
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Working efficiently to meet production requirements

About You The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Have a good eye for identifying imperfections or defects
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable working in a production environment
• Have a good work ethic and positive attitude
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Stamdard shift is Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:00pm, however there is flexibility on this.
