Reporting to the National Manager, Charitable Trusts, you will support the management of a portfolio of charitable trusts and help ensure they are administered correctly. Working within the Charitable Trusts & Philanthropy (CTP) team, this role focuses on coordination, relationship support and helping keep our processes running smoothly.

About the Role

• Managing a portfolio of mainly non‑discretionary charitable trusts, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Support the preparation of papers, information and materials for oversight/governance committees, and attend meetings where required.
• Follow Equity Trustees’ trust management processes and contribute ideas to improve how we work.
• Support key regulatory requirements such as ACNC, ATO and fundraising reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, including keeping eligibility and contact details up to date.
• Work closely with team members across Philanthropy and the wider business to deliver great service.
• Assist with broader business projects, system changes, and the development of simple guides, checklists and procedures.

What You Need

• Knowledge of charitable trust governance, the Trustee Acts, Charities Act, and related regulatory frameworks (desirable not essential).
• Experience in philanthropy, structured giving or grants management (desirable not essential).
• Experience in administration, coordination, client service or similar roles.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office.
• A collaborative mindset and a positive approach to supporting others.
• Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential.
• Additional studies (law, finance, philanthropy, social investment) or previous trust experience are a bonus but not required.
