We are seeking a Senior Associate - STS Oversight & Monitoring to play a key role in the Trustee's oversight and monitoring of outsourced superannuation service providers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, STS Oversight & Monitoring, this role supports the delivery of effective, risk‑based oversight across Administrators, Promoters and Custodians, ensuring services are delivered in line with regulatory obligations, agreed service levels and the Trustee's risk appetite.
You will work across a broad range of oversight activities, including due diligence reviews, issue and remediation monitoring, and preparation of governance reporting, while building strong internal and external relationships to support sound risk and compliance outcomes.

About the Role
- Support the delivery of a risk‑based oversight and monitoring program across Administrators, Promoters and Custodians
- Review and analyse service provider performance, including compliance attestations, service level reporting, incidents, complaints and audit reports
- Assist with remote, desktop and on‑site due diligence reviews and follow‑up activities
- Monitor and track issues, incidents and remediation actions through to completion
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Support regulatory, audit and information requests, including CPS 234/230‑related activities
- Maintain ongoing oversight plans and ensure timely completion of monitoring activities.
- Contribute to Board, Committee and management reporting that is clear, accurate and timely
- Stay informed on relevant legislative and regulatory developments
What You Need - Minimum 5 years' experience in assurance, due diligence, risk management and/or operations management within financial services, with a thorough understanding of the Superannuation industry.
- Strong working knowledge of superannuation legislation and regulatory requirements and demonstrated ability in applying this knowledge.
- Prior experience in superannuation administration, trustee services, risk, compliance or a related financial services environment.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Client‑focused mindset and sound professional judgement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with trustee systems highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law (desirable).
