We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Investment Governance team, supporting the delivery of a critical program of work designed to enhance investment governance across our superannuation trustee business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in strengthening oversight and monitoring activities for superannuation platforms and managed investment schemes.
 
About the Role:
 
Reporting to the Head of Investment Governance, Business Transformation & Governance Operations, you will lead the implementation of an enhancement program focused on investment governance for superannuation platforms. This includes:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external platform providers and promoters.
• Preparing and overseeing implementation plans to deliver governance improvements.
• Supporting the Corporate Trustee Services (CTS) team in its role as Responsible Entity for managed investment schemes and trusts.
• Preparing high-quality reports and papers for Board Committees.
• Once the program is complete, you will transition to managing these enhanced activities, while continuing to provide expertise on investment governance

What We're Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of superannuation platforms and investment governance, including SPS 530 requirements.
• Experience in funds management and working with outsourced service providers or platform operators.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify gaps.
• Proven ability to manage programs or projects from a subject matter expert perspective.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise reports for senior governance forums.
• A CFA qualification would be highly regarded but is not essential.
