As the Service Transition Manager, will be responsible for the development, implementation, operation and ongoing improvement of the processes, procedures, methodologies, artefacts and systems required to successfully manage the delivery and transition of infrastructure, applications and services projects in the Managed Security Services practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the establishment, development and maintenance of required processes, procedures, methodologies, artefacts, and systems to ensure an effective Service Transition practice
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Plan and oversee the delivery of MSS projects from Sales Handover through Service Transition and to Project Close, ensuring that the project activities are being delivered in accordance with the agreed schedule, budget, and quality requirements
- Plan and oversee the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production.
- Act as a single point of escalation for any issues impacting MSS project delivery or Service Transition.
- Provide appropriate summary reporting
Skills & experience - At least 2+ years of prior experience in a similar role, with particular focus on information technology and cyber security
- Experience working in a Managed Services environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility with senior leaders and internal working teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate information into creative solutions to benefit the business
- Outstanding organisation and planning skills with the ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time
