About the Role
The Systems & Reporting Lead plays a critical role within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, with primary responsibility for the effective management and continuous improvement of financial systems, data models, reporting frameworks, and data governance processes. The incumbent will be instrumental in enhancing the organisation’s analytical capabilities by ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial data and insights provided to internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient, analytically strong, and business-savvy, with the ability to translate data into insights and insights into action. The role contributes to building a modern, scalable, and reliable BI environment that empowers users across the organisation. The position will work collaboratively with Finance, Technology, and cross-functional teams across the business.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a BI Developer, Reporting Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
- Proven experience BI & Reporting experience with financial teams delivering P&L, FinOps & Budget/Forecast reporting.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
- Experience in DAX and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modelling and relational databases.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects, with a focus on finance technology or data transformation.
Desirable:
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in a publicly listed (ASX) or global organisation.
- Exposure to the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
- Experience in Tabular Editor & XMLA endpoint interaction
- Experience with enterprise financial systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP BI, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
