We are currently seeking a highly organised and results-driven Project Specialist to join the overall delivery in the Iron Ore shutdown space, primarily focused on Mining with some Port operations.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the success of a well-established master schedule and the effective coordination of key stakeholders.

About the Role This dynamic and fast-paced role will see you supporting a business-critical program with a strong focus on planning, document control, risk and issue tracking, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update planning environments across all levels and time horizons
• Track and support the delivery of actions, activities, and discrete work packages
• Maintain registers for dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder engagement
• Administer the program’s document management system
• Assist the Program Lead with budget forecasts and coordination tasks
• Pay rates from $90 per hour - $114 per hour, based on experience. 

About You

• Experienced Planner: Skilled in managing complex schedules and identifying interdependencies across multiple work streams
• Results-Focused: Proactive with a strong sense of urgency, able to drive tasks to completion and hold stakeholders accountable
• Highly Organised: Able to manage multiple priorities in a structured and self-directed manner
• Analytical: Confident joining the dots across project data to flag issues, dependencies, or gaps
• Adaptable: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Current C Class Driver’s License required
• Use of MS365 Suites, Task Assignments, MS Projects
