Project Manager – Small Works

Central London | Permanent | Full Time

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects?
We're working with a leading Design & Build contractor that is looking to appoint a Small Works Project Manager to join its growing delivery team. You'll be responsible for managing multiple CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out projects and refurbishment works across London, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standard.

The Role You'll take full ownership of several small works projects simultaneously, managing programmes, subcontractors, clients and commercial performance from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Manage projects from pre-start through to handover and final account.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and monitor progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor project costs and work closely with the commercial team.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to programme delivery.
• Oversee project handovers, snagging and final close-out.

About You

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out or Design & Build.
• Proven experience delivering CAT A & CAT B office fit-out projects.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety and project delivery.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
