Project Planner

Are you an experienced Project Planner looking to play a key role in delivering high-profile commercial fit-out projects?
We're working with a leading Design & Build contractor that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional workplace environments across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Planner to support the successful delivery of a portfolio of CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out projects, including a flagship £10M+ scheme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team and work on fast-paced, technically challenging projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role You'll be responsible for developing, managing and monitoring project programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time while providing accurate planning support to operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce, develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Work closely with Pre-con, Project Managers, Commercial and Site teams to develop realistic construction programmes.
• Monitor project progress and identify programme risks and opportunities.
• Produce programme updates, progress reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Analyse delays and recommend recovery programmes where required.
• Attend project meetings and provide planning support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review subcontractor programmes and ensure they align with the overall project schedule.
• Support tender planning and pre-construction activities where required.

About You

• Previous experience as a Project Planner within construction or commercial fit-out.
• Experience delivering CAT A & CAT B office fit-out projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple programmes within a fast-paced environment.
