Document Controller

Are you an experienced Document Controller looking to join one of London's leading Design & Build fit-out contractors?
We're working exclusively on behalf of a well-established, award-winning commercial interiors specialist who is looking to appoint a Document Controller to support the delivery of a flagship £10M+ CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a high-performing project team, working on a landmark scheme with a business that has an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality workplace environments.
The Role You'll be responsible for managing all project documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring information is issued, recorded and maintained accurately while supporting the project team with efficient document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation using EDMS platforms.
• Control the distribution of drawings, RFIs, technical submissions and project correspondence.
• Ensure document registers are accurate and kept up to date.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and the internal project team.
• Maintain revision control and ensure the latest information is issued.
• Support project managers with document tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate handover documentation and O&M manuals.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and client requirements.

About You

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction or commercial fit-out.
• Experience working on CAT A and CAT B projects.
• Strong knowledge of platforms such as Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint, Procore or similar EDMS systems.
• Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.
