Primary Responsibilitie
Drive new business sales growth in alignment with company targets
Build and maintain a referral network to expand market presence and opportunities
Act as primary point of contact for clients, overseeing all communications and servicing of accounts, including renewals, billing follow-ups and claims assistance
Exercise proactive efforts to ensure coverages remain appropriate and competitive
Work closely with the assigned Account Manager to deliver seamless service and support.
Accurately complete all client applications and submit through the internal Marketer for placement.
Prospect and track business development activity using the CRM, ensuring records are current and accurate.
Maintain accountability for performance metrics, client satisfaction, and adherence to company standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance product
Proficiency with industry-related software and digital tools
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confident and professional communication skills, particularly over the phone
Patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated to delivering excellent client service
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales is required, with 5+ years of experience in the industry
Sales experience is considered an asset
Active RIBO license in good standing (required)
CAIB designation or actively working towards completion is considered an asset
This is a 100% commission-based role after the first 2 years, offering commission on both new business and renewal. Apply For Job
