Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Commercial Lines, the Team Lead of Sales and Group Insurance will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the personal lines sales team and group insurance offerings.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day lead assignments within the CRM system
• Actively participate in the quoting and placement of new personal lines business, including new policy opportunities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships
• Develop and implement customer experience strategies and campaigns for specific groups, including the lead handling process
• Create business plans for specific groups and customer profiles
• Mentor and coach sales team members in alignment with defined KPIs
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate high-quality lead opportunities
• Oversee the rollout and adherence to service standards for all group programs across Duliban Insurance
• Act as a liaison with the McDougall Insurance Group regarding the group insurance space to share best practices and drive alignment
• Participate in group insurance events, building strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Conduct call auditing and manage escalation requests to ensure quality
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members
• Actively involved in day-to-day quoting of new personal lines business, with a focus on building long-term client relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and relationship-building skills
• In-depth knowledge of Personal Lines insurance sales, products, markets, and underwriting practices
• Strategic thinker with experience developing plans, targeting strategies, and sales initiatives
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience handling escalations, call auditing, and maintaining service quality standards
• Proficiency with brokerage management systems (BMS), CRM platforms, and other industry-related technology
• Minimum 3-5 years of insurance industry experience, preferably in a sales or leadership role
• Active RIBO license in good standing
• CAIB designation is considered an asset
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between office locations as needed
