Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.
About the position Kirwan Kindy is excited to invite passionate educators to join our dynamic team, with opportunities available for both a Lead Educator (Diploma-qualified) and Assistant Educator (Certificate III-qualified or working towards). These positions run Monday to Friday with set afternoon shifts, commencing as soon as practical, with opportunities to increase hours through inclusion support.
In these roles, you will support the delivery of engaging, high-quality learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, working collaboratively with the Centre Leader and team to enhance educational practices and outcomes for children. The Lead Educator role also includes guiding and mentoring fellow educators to foster a positive and enriching learning environment.

What you’ll need to succeed: - Diploma (completed) or Certificate III (completed or working towards) in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent
- Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
