Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Māori organisation delivering integrated health, wellbeing and social services across Tāmaki Makaurau. Our mission is to provide high quality, accessible and affordable healthcare to whānau, with a dedicated focus on equity and culturally responsive care.
We are looking for passionate and community focused Kaiarataki - Cancer Screening Navigators (x2) to join a new Cancer Hub service based in Māngere. In this role you will support whānau across Counties Manukau to access breast, cervical and bowel cancer screening, helping increase early detection and improve outcomes for Māori and Pacific communities. This role is fulltime, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Te whiwhinga mahi – The opportunity
This is an opportunity to work directly in the community, supporting people who are not currently participating in regular cancer screening to access life-saving services. Your mahi will focus on establishing trusted relationships, strengthening health literacy and reducing barriers so whānau can confidently participate in screening programmes.
