Quantech Design is a mechanical engineering consulting firm that offers innovative engineering solutions and 3D modelling across a range of industries. Projects range from large agricultural machinery, semi-trailers, canopies and ute trays, to misting fans, playgrounds, shelters and much more.

In your new role you will:

• Provide big picture concept and design ideas
• Collaborate within the team to develop all project designs
• Produce conceptual design drawings, detailed & accurate 3D models and drawings for manufacture.
• Deliver detailed analysis and efficient, cost-effective and sustainable design solutions.
• Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service.
• Independently manage a workload of highly variable projects.

You will have:

• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in a broad range of design for manufacture. A diploma or degree in mechanical engineering will be looked at favourably.
• Experience with CAD - SolidWorks 3D/FEA simulation experience an advantage.
• High-level written and oral communication skills with the ability to build excellent customer and team relationships.
• Adaptability to new systems, strong attention to detail and proved track record to meet deadlines.
