Our client, a full-service Civil Engineering and Site Development consulting firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their growing team!
This is an onsite/full-time/direct-hire position Salary range based on experience: Up to $150k + bonus opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Director to lead our client's Jacksonville team's civil engineering and site development initiatives to grow this office to become the leader in the North Florida region. This is a leadership opportunity in a growing engineering organization.
Position Requirements
BS or Advanced MS degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering (PE) License
8+ years of progressive experience
A natural leader with a desire to build a high-performing team
Demonstrated success managing significant infrastructure and development portfolios
Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise-wide technological and engineering strategies
Executive-level experience in complex municipal and private-sector engineering collaboration
Experience in strategic planning and organizational development
Comprehensive expertise in advanced computational modeling and predictive infrastructure design
Deep understanding of emerging sustainability and resilience engineering practices
Advanced technical knowledge of the Jacksonville and Florida area engineering codes and regulations
Key Responsibilities
Direct and mentor an engineering team
Coordinate with marketing initiatives and strategies
Develop and implement comprehensive engineering strategies for complex site development projects
Manage complex, multi-million-dollar projects from conceptual design through final implementation
Lead various interdisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal cross-functional collaboration
Develop and maintain critical client relationships and marketing coordination at executive levels
Oversee comprehensive quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes
Represent the organization in high-level technical and strategic discussions with clients and regulatory agencies
Coordinate with other offices in joint engineering management initiatives
