About the team
Within our Queensland Property practice we have a highly successful leasing practice. The leasing practice works with large institutional landlords specialising in retail and commercial leases across Queensland and New South Wales.
The team is led by a Leasing Partner and Leasing Executive who are both passionate about fostering a collaborative and supportive culture, with a focus on ensuring that all team members meet their personal and business development goals.

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented junior Leasing Administration Assistant with a genuine interest in developing a career within the property and leasing department. This position will work alongside other legal assistants to provide support to a team of lawyers and paralegals engaged in high quality and high-volume leasing work.
Day to day you can expect to undertake the following duties:
- Supporting the leasing team with administration tasks, including but not limited to filing, data entry and managing correspondence;
- Management of incoming and outgoing mail;
- Responsible for assisting with reviewing execution of lease documents;
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of lease details in the leasing management system;
- Database management;
- Opening, closing and maintaining files;
- Registering and stamping leases;
- Liaising with internal clients and other relevant stakeholders regarding lease enquiries and administrative matters;
- Assisting in the preparation of correspondence and various documents;
- Editing documents in markup and maintaining version control;
- Invoicing and assisting the team with end of month billing;
- Scanning and photocopying;
- General administrative support to the team.

About you You will enjoy working as a team within a fast paced, deadline driven environment. You will have a can-do attitude with a genuine desire to achieve client goals and pitch in with any task required to achieve those outcomes. You will also have:
- Some experience in an office/corporate environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with an ability to learn systems quickly;
- The capacity to work with high-volume tasks under pressure;
- Excellent client service skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Friendly and professional communication (both verbal and written);
- A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills;
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team;
- The ability to take instructions and demonstrate initiative.
