We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join a dedicated engineering team responsible for a prestigious 50-storey commercial tower near Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer or Supervisor looking to advance their career and take ownership of a key operational area within a busy high-rise environment.

You will supervise one on-site engineer and oversee the maintenance of approximately six tenant floors, ensuring all building systems run safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards. As part of a larger building services team, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and oversee the work of one engineer on-site.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond to reactive maintenance needs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and BMS controls.
• Ensure all repair and corrective works meet statutory safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Complete reports, logbooks, RAMS, and permits to work.
• Communicate with tenants and client representatives regarding maintenance queries and updates.
• Support the wider building engineering team when required.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong background in building services maintenance.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a small engineering team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong task-prioritisation skills.
• Professional, personable, and motivated to develop within a high-profile environment.

Salary & Benefits:

• £52,000 – £54,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00
