Water Treatment Engineer
South East (Mobile Role)
£40,000 - £45,000
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join a leading building services provider, covering a portfolio of long-term, secure contracts across the South East and Greater London.

This is a mobile role offering great variety, stability, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver L8 compliance tasks including remedials, RPZ works, and system flushing
• Carry out site surveys, produce quotes, and complete remedial works
• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on water systems
• Conduct inspections, testing, fault finding, and repairs in line with regulations and manufacturer guidelines
• Complete disinfection procedures on domestic and commercial systems
• Update CAFM systems and provide detailed reports for all works completed
• Issue certification for small works
• Support continuous improvement and assist in mentoring junior engineers where required

Requirements

• Strong background in water treatment engineering (essential)
• Level 2 Plumbing qualification or above
• Good understanding of L8 compliance and water hygiene standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to manage workload independently across a regional patch

Package

• £40,000 - £45,000 salary (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
