Contract Manager

Our client is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and experienced Contract Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Mechanical Services contracts ranging from £50k to £3 million, ensuring compliance, safety, and technical excellence across multiple sites.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of Building Services and M&E operations. In return, the successful candidate will benefit from career progression, continuous training, and the opportunity to work on high-value, prestigious projects

Responsibilities:

• Ensure maintenance and compliance of ISO Standards, monitoring team adherence and identifying training needs where necessary.
• Work closely with the operational team to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Procure labour, materials, and subcontractors in line with project requirements.
• Maintain a high level of Health & Safety awareness across all activities.
• Ensure full technical compliance with mechanical and building services standards.
• Manage on-site labour and subcontractors to ensure performance and project milestones are met.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure site teams are fully briefed on safety and operational procedures.
• Regularly attend sites, produce progress reports, and monitor project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Strong Mechanical Engineering background.
• Knowledge of Building Services and M&E sectors.
• Proven experience managing high-value Mechanical Services contracts.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of budget and resource management.
