Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity for a mechanical bias engineer to join one of the lead building services providers in the UK. Our clients are maintaining a highly regarded contract located in Central London. As a maintenance provider, who continues to be successful in the market, the company offers a great place to work, giving all the support and training required to help their engineers in their roles.

This role follows a Monday - Friday pattern on a state of the art commercial property, undergoing PPM and Reactive maintenance on mechanicall systems alongside any remedial works and emergencies on site. This is a fantastic role for an experienced maintenance engineer with outstanding knowledge on mechanical and electrical systems.

Duties

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, Water Treatment and BMS Operation
• Knowledge of Cooling towers and Chilled water beams.
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors
• Completing logbooks and RAMS
• Reports
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent sbject
• Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical and HVAC associated systems
• Prior Building Services Maintenance experience (At least 5+ years experience)
