Rowe Motors is a long-established Tauranga business specialising in 24/7 towing, heavy haulage, vehicle recovery, and transport solutions. With over 80 years of experience and a strong reputation across the Bay of Plenty, they are known for delivering reliable, responsive service when it matters most.  
 
About the Role
This is a pivotal, hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business. You'll work closely with the wider team, ensuring systems, processes, and compliance requirements are managed effectively.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations 
• Ensure GST, FBT, and PAYE obligations are met accurately and on time 
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records 
• Complete monthly general ledger and bank reconciliations 
• Support monthly reporting and assist with annual accounts preparation 
• Maintain budgets and assist with financial tracking 
• Oversee banking, payments, and petty cash 
• Provide administrative support across the business, including HR administration documentation and insurance claims 
• Step in to support dispatch or customer service when required 

 
About You
If you are the ideal candidate for this role you will have:

• Proven experience in office management, accounts, or senior administration 
• Strong knowledge of payroll, GST, and general financial processes 
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities 
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach 
• Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
