Our client is looking for an organised, friendly, and proactive administrator to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave.
This is a varied role supporting two businesses, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a busy environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You'll be involved in everything from customer service and office administration to basic accounts and coordinating day-to-day business operations.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Answering phones and responding to customer enquiries
- Booking training courses and coordinating schedules
- Arranging vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Organising accommodation bookings
- General office administration, filing and record management
- Providing day-to-day support to the wider team
- Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable
- Raising customer invoices and assisting with accounts receivable
- Basic bookkeeping using Xero
- Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
- General data entry and administrative support.
We're looking for someone who: - Has previous administration experience
- Has experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
- Is comfortable using Xero or similar accounting software
- Learns new systems quickly and enjoys working across multiple platforms
- Has strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is highly organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with health and safety administration would be an advantage but is not essential.
