A long-standing regional accounting and advisory firm is seeking a friendly Senior Accountant to join their established Horsham office. With a genuine focus on staff retention, flexibility and long-term progression, this opportunity would suit an accountant looking to step away from the constant churn of metro public practice whilst still working on complex and interesting client work.

The Role

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for all entity types.
• Direct client contact and responsibility for managing your own relationships and workflow.
• Opportunity to mentor junior staff and progressively take on more advisory focused work.
• Strong mix of longstanding local businesses, primary producers and larger privately owned groups.

About You

• 3+ years Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge.
• Comfortable managing client relationships autonomously.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and personable approach.
