Our client is seeking an Audit Analyst to join their growing Audit & Assurance team. Working alongside experienced Managers, Senior Auditors, and Partners, you'll gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries including not-for-profit, sporting organisations, commercial businesses, and listed entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career accountant looking to build technical audit expertise, work directly with clients, and progress towards their CA or CPA qualification within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
As an Audit Analyst, you will support the delivery of external audit and assurance engagements while developing your technical knowledge and client-facing skills. You'll work closely with senior team members, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of audit assignments and financial reporting matters.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and delivery of external audit and assurance engagements
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Perform audit testing, risk assessments, and substantive procedures
• Support the identification of key business and financial risks
• Work collaboratively with senior team members to meet client deadlines and budgets
• Apply Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Australian Auditing Standards (ASA)
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and value-added client outcomes
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues

About You

• Bachelor of Business, Commerce (Accounting), or equivalent
• Currently undertaking or intending to commence CA or CPA studies
• 1-2 years' experience within public practice, audit, or a professional services environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Experience using Xero, CaseWare, or similar accounting software is advantageous
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team environment
