Registered Nurse Supervisor – Community Aged Care

This is a hands-on Registered Nurse Supervisor opportunity for an experienced community RN ready to step into true clinical leadership.
You’ll act as the day-to-day clinical lead and escalation point for a small, established community nursing team - providing guidance, mentoring and quality oversight while still remaining connected to clinical practice.

Working closely with a highly supportive Manager, Care Coordinators and an engaged Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical standards, supporting nurses on the ground, and driving safe, high-quality care delivery across the service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the clinical supervisor and escalation point for community-based Nurses
• Provide hands-on mentoring, coaching and clinical guidance
• Oversee clinical assessments, care planning and complex cases
• Support nurses to build capability, confidence and compliance
• Work closely with Care Coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and governance
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and Support at Home readiness
• Promote safe, person-centred care across the community service

About You

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
• 3+ years’ community aged care experience
• Previous Senior RN, Team Leader or Supervisory experience
• Strong clinical judgement, assessment and compliance knowledge
• Confident communicator who enjoys supporting and developing others
• Highly organised with a calm, practical leadership style
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
